Upward Rain Over Lavender and Stubble at Dawn

Cold silver dawn light washes a harvested grain field in Tamale where rows of lavender stand beside a dense windbreak. The ground is rough with dry stubble and scattered leaves that catch the pale morning glow. Crisp silver streaks of rain fall upward from the soil, piercing through the air in deliberate, straight lines. Drifting chaff and dust float among the descending moisture, suspended in the stillness. The lavender blooms form a soft purple band against the gray sky, while the windbreak creates a dark vertical barrier. Tiny water droplets rest on the tips of the lavender spikes, reflecting the impossible ascent of the rain. One droplet hangs from a dried leaf, mirroring the upward trajectory.
