Tweed Swatch Drawer on Kaduna Harbor Wall

Bright tropical midday light washes over a wooden drawer filled with narrow tweed strips, each section marked by a small hand-labeled tab. The wood grain shows wear against the wind-beaten texture of the gray harbor wall in Kaduna. Behind the drawer, heavy curtains drape loosely, while framed mirrors and metal garment racks stand in a cluttered layer. Cool season air does not alter the stillness of the fabric, which rests flat and organized within the open compartment. The hand-written labels show slight fading where sunlight hits them directly. A shadow from the drawer edge falls sharply across the bottom strip of wool, defining the depth of the contents against the rough masonry background.
