Early spring thaw has turned the ground into a patchwork of slush and bare earth, where the cold air hangs heavy and visible as white breath clouds drifting around the metal rails and gate hinges. The barn structure stands sturdy against the fading day, its surfaces rough with age and exposed to the elements. Frost rests on the lower edges of the slats, while the warm sun illuminates the upper sections, creating a stark contrast between the cold air and the golden glow. A thin layer of ice forms on the gate latch, reflecting the low sun, while the muddy ground shows deep tire tracks leading away from the structure.
