Tractor Harvesting Wheat Between Vineyards Near Dushanbe

Late morning sun floods the field where a red tractor moves between rows of vineyard trellises near Dushanbe. The machine stands dark against the brilliant, cloud-streaked sky, its form reduced to a sharp silhouette. Golden wheat stalks bend under the weight of the harvest, their heads heavy with grain. Chaff and fine dust rise in a hazy cloud around the rear wheels, catching the bright light and scattering it into a million glowing particles. The wooden posts of the vineyard stretch into the distance, framing the agricultural activity. The ground beneath the tires is dry and packed, kicking up a soft trail of tan dust that lingers in the air. One grain of wheat rests on the edge of the tractor's metal guard, catching the light.
