Cool blue twilight floods a skylit passageway near Yalova, illuminating a heavy timber roof truss that angles sharply against the darkening sky. Beside the structural wood, rows of public seating sit empty, their surfaces catching the soft, diffused light filtering through the overhead opening. Dramatic clouds swirl in the deepening azure above, creating a stark contrast with the warm, earthy tones of the aged timber. The spatial arrangement follows a clear rule of thirds, placing the truss on the left vertical line while the seating extends into the right foreground. Shadows lengthen across the floor, showing the depth of the passage. A faint reflection of the cloud formation glimmers on the polished edge of a seat back, at the base of the scene in the quiet stillness of midsummer twilight.
