A local technician, shirt sleeves rolled up, holds a faded blue watering bottle, taking a quick drink while his other hand rests near a stack of dog-eared paperbacks used as makeshift spacers for a broken gate hinge. Beside him, a red folding chair is tipped on its side, revealing rusted hinges, while a stack of aluminum baking sheets leans against the wall, reflecting the harsh midday glare.
