Rain darkens the concrete, turning it into a reflective mirror that holds the sky's low-hanging gray clouds. The stylist's hands move with practiced precision against the slick surface. Water beads on the model's hem and drips from the edge of a nearby awning. A puddle near the heel reflects the copper glow and the sharp outline of the taped shoe. The scene stops at the edge of the curb where the wet pavement meets the dry interior of a nearby shop.
