Stone Bench in Luxor

A stone bench sits weathered and warm against the rough limestone wall of a Luxor courtyard in the late afternoon light. The sun casts long, sharp shadows across the textured surface, highlighting the natural grain and age of the rock. Beside the bench, a small patch of green lemongrass grows from a crack in the masonry, adding a touch of life to the ancient setting. Dust motes dance in the golden beam that illuminates the corner where the stone meets the earth.
