Crisp high-altitude light floods the interior of a weathered circus tent in Anyang during the dry season. A steel guitar player sits on a simple wooden stool, sliding a metal bar across the strings with focused intent. The heavy canvas roof above shows faded stripes and patched seams, filtering the bright daylight into a soft, dusty glow. Dramatic cumulus clouds press against the tent walls, visible through gaps in the fabric. Behind the musician, coiled cables and a worn amplifier rest on the dirt floor, hinting at a quiet moment before the performance begins. Dust motes hang suspended in the shafts of light that cut across the rough wooden planks of the stage.
