Sleeping Farm Dog Beside Seedling Trays Fujian

Wet, dark fur mats along the back of a tan and white farm dog curled tight against a stack of black plastic seedling trays. The trays sit on a muddy path at the edge of a tea plantation, their surfaces slick with monsoon rain. Green tea bushes stretch into the background, their leaves heavy with water droplets under a grey, overcast sky. Late afternoon light falls through the clouds, casting soft, diffuse shadows across the damp earth. Raindrops bead on the plastic rims and glisten on the dog's coat. Young plants wait to be transplanted into the terraced rows nearby. One drop of water slides down the side of the nearest tray and lands on the dog's paw.
