Skater Triple Axel Landing Predawn Fog Hillside
Silvery winter light cuts through thick ground fog pooling in the hollows of a Béjaïa hillside. A figure skater hangs in mid-air, knees bent deep, arms pulled tightly against the torso to complete a triple axel rotation. The blades of the skates are blurred by motion, slicing through the pale mist that rests on the damp grass. Droplets of water glisten on the skater's dark tights, reflecting the low, diffuse glow of the predawn sky.
