Silhouetted Worker at Salvador Foundry Furnace Mouth

Deep indigo twilight blankets the industrial yard in Salvador as a sodium-vapor glow casts a warm, hazy orange wash across the scene. In the center, the dark outline of a foundry worker stands rigid against the brilliant white heat radiating from a furnace mouth. Dramatic, heavy clouds stack high above, their undersides bruised with shadow while the worker's silhouette remains sharp and defined. Foreground elements blur into soft, out-of-focus orbs of amber light, framing the solitary figure. The cool season air hangs still, visible in the crisp edges of the metal structure and the lack of steam distortion. The worker's posture suggests a pause in labor, facing the intense thermal core of the operation. A faint reflection of the orange fire glimmers on a wet patch of concrete near the worker's boots.
