Silhouetted Ruin with Wildflowers in Amber Dusk Light in along a vine-choked corridor near Kollam

Silhouetted Ruin with Wildflowers in Amber Dusk Light

by Hiroshi Boone

Rich amber sunset light bathes a crumbling stone corridor near Kollam, turning the weathered masonry into a dark silhouette against the glowing sky. Vines choke the upper arches, their wet leaves glistening under a fine drizzle that softens the stone's rough edges. Bright wildflowers push through deep cracks in the pavement, their petals glowing with an intense orange hue that contrasts sharply with the shadowed masonry. The wet ground reflects the copper tones of the sky, creating a mirror-like surface beneath the roots. Moss rests on the lower walls, absorbing the moisture from the air. at the edge is a single flower head tilting slightly, its stem bending under the weight of a raindrop before it slips away.
