Golden hour light washes over the water, highlighting a narrow wooden boat crowded with green vegetables and red fruits. A farmer sits low in the vessel, hands gripping oars that dip into the dark surface. Thick clusters of lotus pads float heavily around the hull, their broad green leaves reflecting the fading sun. Wisps of white cooking smoke drift upward from stalls under the wooden market canopy, resting against the humid air. The boat pushes aside the dense vegetation, creating small ripples that disturb the reflection of the canopy's dark timber beams overhead. Steam rises from cooking pots beside the water's edge, mingling with the scentless smoke.
