Rain-slicked pavement in Plaka reflects the neon glow of a nearby taverna sign, casting streaks of electric blue and amber across the wet cobblestones. A street vendor adjusts a canvas awning, pulling it taut against the lingering drizzle, while a cluster of plastic stools sits stacked near the entrance, their surfaces beaded with water droplets. Through the rain-streaked glass of the window, a ceramic pitcher and a blue-floral vase are visible on a counter, blurred by the distance and the weather outside.
