Shipyard Hull Under Construction in Late Afternoon

Exposed structural steel beams rise vertically against a bright sky, their raw gray surfaces catching the hard white light of late afternoon. The massive hull under construction dominates the right third of the frame, its riveted plates forming a curved, industrial silhouette. Fine dust particles hang suspended in shafts of light, creating visible streaks that drift across the concrete ground below. The wet season leaves the earth dark and compacted, against the pale dust clouds. Shadows fall sharply beneath the steel girders, showing the monumental scale of the utilitarian structure. A rust-colored bolt head glints on a vertical beam near the bottom edge.
