North-window sidelight floods the early afternoon interior of a restored train terminal in Kigali, illuminating a Shaker meeting house arrangement. Pegged walls rise in orderly rows, their pale wood grain catching the soft, directional glow. Bare benches align in perfect symmetry, stretching toward the vanishing point under the high, vaulted ceiling of the industrial space. The turn of seasons leaves the air still, with dust particles visible only where the light beam cuts across the floorboards. The vastness of the terminal architecture frames the quiet, functional furniture without clutter. A long shadow stretches across the polished floor, ending at the base of the final bench leg.
