Sculptural Muslin Dress Form Linz Atelier Window

Pale walls reflect broad skylight into a backstage corridor in Linz, where a dress form stands draped in heavy sculptural muslin. The fabric folds create deep shadows and sharp highlights, showing the rigid structure beneath the soft textile. Dust particles float visibly in the shafts of light that spill across the floor and up the walls. The form rests at the edge of the frame, its head slightly tilted, casting a dark silhouette against the bright window. Dry air hangs still, allowing the dust motes to remain suspended in the beam. The texture of the unbleached muslin contrasts with the smooth, painted surface of the corridor walls. One shadow stretches across the floorboards near the base of the form.
