Linen Dress Form Mirror Changchun Predawn

Unfinished linen and tracing paper drape over a dress form standing beside a mirror lined with bright makeup bulbs. Predawn darkness fills the room, broken only by the harsh glow of the bulbs and a spill of runway light cutting across the floor. Early winter air hangs heavy, visible as steam and fine fabric fibers suspended in the beams. The rough texture of the linen contrasts with the smooth, translucent tracing paper wrapped around the form. Shadows stretch long and sharp against the dark walls. A small puddle of condensation gathers at the base of the mirror stand. The edge of the tracing paper catches a sharp highlight from the bulb above.
