Salt Crusted Silhouette at Aleppo Harbor

Golden light fractures against the harbor edge in Aleppo, turning the sky into a wash of orange and bruised purple beneath heavy monsoon clouds. A dock worker stands in sharp silhouette, their profile defined by the rim light tracing weathered skin. Crystals of salt coat the deep lines of the face and neck, catching the fading sun like scattered diamonds. Foreground bokeh blurs the water and dock pilings into soft, shimmering orbs of amber and teal. The figure remains still, a statue of endurance against the low-hanging storm front. One grain of salt rests on the jawline, catching the last direct beam of light before the sun dips below the horizon.
