Monsoon moisture coats the asphalt, reflecting the dim glow while heat shimmer wavers visibly above the ground. From behind, the rough texture of the lid dominates the foreground, against the smooth, glistening street. Shadows stretch long and soft across the alley, meeting the warm, pale light of early morning. A thin layer of condensation rests on the lower rim of the metal, catching the faintest hint of gold from the rising sun.
