Rippled Aquarium Light on Taiyuan Stair Wall

Warm candlelight glows through rippled aquarium glass, projecting shifting patterns onto a tiled stair hall in Taiyuan. The honeyed evening light settles into the corners, creating a rhythmic geometric energy across the surface. Each tile reflects the distorted glow, forming a symmetrical composition of liquid gold and deep shadow. The glass texture bends the light into soft, undulating waves that dance against the rigid grid of the wall. Shadows lengthen slowly as the sun dips, showing the interplay between the fluid motion of the water and the static nature of the ceramic tiles. A final beam of light rests on the bottom step, highlighting the grain of the grout.
