Red Geraniums in Beirut

A cluster of vibrant red geraniums sits on a narrow stone balcony ledge, their green leaves catching the first warm rays of the Beirut sunrise. The morning light highlights the delicate veins in the petals and casts long, soft shadows against the weathered white stucco wall behind them. Below the ledge, the faint outline of a distant minaret rises into the pale blue sky, at the base of the scene in its specific urban context. One dewdrop rests on the edge of a lower leaf, reflecting the brightening light of the early morning.
