Orange low-angle sunlight cuts through heavy, dramatic clouds to illuminate a line of commuters huddled beneath a rain-soaked awning. The shuttered arcade behind them displays darkened shop fronts and peeling paint typical of Perugia's historic streets. Wet pavement reflects the warm glow, against the cool gray of the commuters' rain gear. Droplets rest on the metal edge of the shelter, while blurred raindrops in the immediate foreground create a soft bokeh effect. A woman in a yellow coat stands near the front, her breathless posture visible against the stone archway. at the edge is a single raindrop sliding down a glass pane, distorting the orange light into a streak of color.
