The wet ground mirrors the glowing neon signs of the shop above. Dramatic clouds fill the night sky, pressing low against the urban skyline. Water beads on the metal handrails and drips from the awning edges. Figures huddle under umbrellas, their movements creating ripples in the puddles. The fluorescent glow from the store illuminates the damp steps, highlighting the texture of the worn concrete. One reflection of a streetlamp stretches across the slick pavement at the bottom of the stairs.
