Cold moonlight reflects off a wet car windshield, distorting the glow of distant streetlamps into elongated streaks of pale blue and white. Vertical rain trails blur the glass surface, creating a textured veil over the dark expanse of a causeway. Beyond the glass, the flat, dry earth of Turkmenistan stretches into shadow under a starless sky. The dashboard remains dim and indistinct, anchoring the view from the driver's seat. Water droplets cluster along the rubber seals, catching the faint ambient light. One bright reflection stretches across the lower right corner of the glass, marking the edge of the road.
