Under the harsh, flat glare of Delhi noon, a street vendor’s cart stands as a hub of quiet industry. A stack of worn work gloves rests casually on the edge of a stainless steel prep surface, next to a faded coffee tin repurposed for holding tea spices. In the background, a clothesline strung between two auto-rickshaws holds damp white shirts that hang stiffly in the heat. The vendor, partially visible, uses a long bread knife to slice through a loaf of fresh naan, the motion blurred by speed.
