Potted Succulents in Toronto

A cluster of small potted succulents sits on the wooden sill of a north-facing window in a Toronto condo. The bright late morning light falls through the sheer curtains, highlighting the fleshy, blue-green leaves of the echeveria plants. A simple white ceramic saucer catches a small amount of condensation from the recent watering of the soil. Dust motes drift in the sunbeams that illuminate the rough texture of the plant leaves and the smooth glass of the window pane.
