A standard poodle stands centered against a weathered beige stucco wall in a Guayaquil courtyard, its curly coat appearing dense and slightly damp from recent rain. The animal faces forward with intense, dark eyes that reflect the soft, diffused light of an overcast afternoon. Water droplets rest on the tips of the white fur on its muzzle and the edges of its long, hanging ears. The background wall shows subtle texture with faint vertical cracks and small patches of green moss near the base, at the base of the subject in a lived-in urban environment.
