Pigeons at Golden Hour

A cluster of grey pigeons huddles on the flat, sun-baked stone ledge of a traditional Fez rooftop during the golden hour. The warm, low-angle sunlight highlights the iridescent purple and green sheen on their neck feathers against the rough, textured masonry. Behind them, the terracotta pots of geraniums cast long, sharp shadows across the uneven surface of the ancient tile work. One bird lifts its head, revealing the bright orange ring of its eye against the dusty plumage.
