Golden hour light spills across the worn cobblestones of a narrow Florentine alley, illuminating a cluster of pigeons pecking near a rusted iron gate. In the foreground, a weathered wooden window sill holds a chipped ceramic cup and a half-eaten piece of bread, partially obscured by the shadow of a hanging laundry line. The deep ochre stucco of the building facade provides a textured backdrop, against the cool grey stone of the street below. A sudden gust lifts the hem of a nearby curtain, casting a fleeting, dancing shadow across the pigeon's feathers as it takes flight.
