Diagonal shafts of fading daylight cut through the room, illuminating dust motes and catching small, sharp highlights on the table's lacquered surface. The monsoon season brings a soft, diffused quality to the remaining natural light outside the window. Deep stitches in the mat create a rhythmic topography of raised ridges and shadowed valleys.
