Vibrant saffron cloth drapes a white Buddhist stupa, its fabric folds catching the warm flicker of dozens of beeswax candles arranged at the base. Indigo twilight falls through tall stained glass panels, casting geometric patches of violet and teal across the polished stone floor. Fine dust particles float in the narrow beams of fading sky light that pierce the dim interior. The symmetrical architecture frames the sacred structure, while the dry season air remains still, preserving the sharp edges of the colored glass against the soft glow of the flames. One shadow from a candle flame stretches long across the orange fabric.
