Off Dew in Singapore

A damp morning in a Singaporean void deck reveals a brown dog shaking off dew from its fur, sending droplets flying onto the polished granite floor. Behind it, a local vendor adjusts a metal grater on a stainless steel prep table, the cool air carrying soft steam that clouds the edge of a nearby glass window. The scene is grounded by pebbles pressed into wet mud near the entrance, against the sleek, clean surfaces of the modern HDB block. A measuring tape lies coiled loosely on a bench, hinting at recent work, while the cool light falls through the open-air structure, illuminating the texture of the wet concrete and the playful movement of the animal.
