Deep shadow blankets the vast dune fields and dry wadis of the Northern Territory, broken only by the sharp rim light tracing the edges of stacked freight containers. Arranged in a grid-like pattern, these metallic blocks resemble painted tiles against the undulating sand. Low-hanging monsoon clouds drift above, casting a diffuse, gray veil over the landscape. The containers stand as rigid geometric forms in a soft, organic terrain, their flat tops reflecting faint starlight while the surrounding dunes sink into darkness. A solitary container edge catches a sliver of moonlight, highlighting the rough texture of its corrugated steel against the smooth sand.
