Puddles on the cracked concrete reflect the fractured glow of red and blue neon signs from shuttered arcade stalls. A black cat moves low along the wet surface, its silhouette sharp against the shimmering water. Dusk light softens the edges of the building facade while headlights from a distant street cut through the humid air. The alley floor shows patches of damp moss and scattered debris. Reflections stretch and distort as the cat steps forward, breaking the mirror image of the shop fronts. The wet pavement glistens under the mixed artificial and natural light.
