Neoclassical Bank Hall With Corinthian Columns

Polished stone tiles cover the floor of a grand stair hall, reflecting the soft light that enters after a rainstorm. Tall Corinthian columns rise from the tiled base, their fluted shafts and ornate capitals supporting an unseen upper structure. The air appears heavy and humid, visible as a slight haze between the column bases. Noon light floods the space, creating sharp contrasts between the bright floor reflections and the deeper shadows nestled in the column flutes. A wide staircase ascends into the background, its steps mirroring the vertical lines of the architecture. The wet sheen on the marble shows the inverted image of the capitals above, doubling the visual weight of the stone. Water droplets rest on the edge of a step near the bottom right.
