Pale morning light falls through sheer curtains, washing the surface of a polished wooden dresser in a hotel room. Three small ceramic pots hold clusters of mint and basil, their green leaves contrasting against the warm beige wood grain. Late autumn shadows stretch long across the floor, where muted reflections of the plants rest beneath the furniture. The glass jars catch the filtered daylight, creating bright highlights on their curved sides. A patterned runner lies beside the dresser, anchoring the arrangement in a quiet domestic space. The veins of the leaves stand out sharply where the light hits them directly, while the dark floor absorbs the soft glow at the edge of the frame.
