Pale dawn light slips across the polished floor, illuminating a metal restock tray placed on a wooden credenza. The tray holds rows of bottled water, small glass tumblers, and packets of tea or coffee, all arranged with precise order. Moisture from the rainy season lingers on the window glass, casting soft, blurred reflections of the pale sky onto the credenza surface. The wood grain of the furniture is visible, against the cool sheen of the metal tray. Shadows stretch long and soft across the room, defining the edges of the furniture legs. One highlight gleams on the rim of a glass bottle near the front edge of the tray.
