Monsoon Twilight Shot Putter Ludhiana Release

Cool blue light washes over a concrete throwing circle in Ludhiana as the athlete extends an arm for the shot put release. Rain droplets hang suspended in the humid monsoon air, catching the fading twilight glow. The thrower wears a dark singlet and shorts, muscles tensed against the damp weight of the metal sphere. Behind the figure, a low brick wall and distant streetlights blur into the deepening evening. The ground shows wet patches reflecting the sky. A fine mist rests on the air, softening the edges of the background structures. The shot put sits just leaving the hand, a heavy silver disc against the grey sky. Water droplets glisten on the athlete's skin and the rough texture of the concrete surface.
