Mist Rising From Lake at Dawn in Chubu

Early spring light breaks over a Chubu lake as thin vapor lifts from the dark water. The surface remains deep in shadow, while a sharp rim of pale blue defines the edges of the rising mist. A brief sun shower streaks through the air, catching the light in diagonal threads that vanish into the gloom. Wind-carved ripples disturb the water near the foreground, creating a texture of fine lines against the smooth, black expanse. The silhouette of a distant tree line stands stark against the brightening sky, marking the boundary between the heavy shadow and the emerging dawn. A wet stone in the immediate foreground reflects the pale sky.
