Milky Way Over Nevada Desert Canyon Walls
Pale silver dust stretches across the black sky, dense with stars above the jagged silhouette of a wind-cut desert escarpment. The canyon walls rise steeply on either side, their rough sandstone textures rendered in deep shadow against the starlight. A faint, rhythmic sweep of artificial light glides across the rock face, revealing patches of ochre and rust where the beam touches the stone before vanishing into darkness. The ground at the canyon floor appears flat and dry, scattered with small stones that reflect the ambient star glow. The vastness of the cosmos dwarfs the geological formations, showing the cold distance between the earth and the celestial sphere. The edge of a rock formation in the foreground catches a sliver of the sweeping light, creating a sharp, glowing line against the matte texture of the canyon.
