Mesa Shadow Golden Hour Jordan Canyon

Warm amber light spills across the rugged red sandstone of a towering mesa, illuminating the deep crevices and weathered striations of the rock face. The sky above transitions from soft orange to a pale, clear blue, indicating the final moments before sunset. A sharp, dark shadow stretches from the mesa's edge, falling precisely across the canyon floor below where pale, dry scrub grasses stand motionless. The air appears exceptionally transparent, allowing distant ridges to remain visible with high contrast against the horizon. The composition divides the frame, placing the illuminated cliff on one side and the shadowed valley on the other, creating a stark boundary between the fading light and the approaching night.
