Melting Tango Dancers Buenos Aires Canal

Brick-red tiles line the canal bank where a tango couple executes a sharp turn under bright late-afternoon sun. Sea spray hangs in the air, catching the light in fine white droplets against the clear sky. The dancers wear formal attire, their legs locked in a dramatic embrace. From behind, the observer sees the woman's silk dress transform into a pool of viscous wax spreading across the wet pavement. The fabric loses its weave, dripping in slow, heavy ribbons that merge with the canal's edge. The man's suit jacket remains structured, while his lower hem liquefies into a golden puddle. one drop of wax rests on the woman's heel before falling into the water.
