Sunlight cuts sharply through the open doorway of a narrow stone workshop in Kathmandu, illuminating a row of wooden tool hooks mounted on a weathered beam. Below, a leatherworker’s bench holds a half-finished chisel and a worn pin cushion, surrounded by scraps of hide. Outside, the street is alive with the blur of passing pedestrians and the glint of a bicycle wheel. The clear afternoon light casts long, crisp shadows of a nearby wicker basket onto the rough plaster wall, creating a textured interplay of light and dark.
