A rowboat rests on the dry, dusty earth of a dry dock in Piraeus, its hull tilted slightly against the warm late afternoon sun. The peeling turquoise paint on the gunwale reveals layers of older white and grey coats, catching the golden light with rough, textured edges. Beside the boat, a dented metal rim from a nearby wheel lies on the ground, reflecting the bright sky in a distorted, shimmering curve. One key blank sits on the edge of the hull, its silver surface gleaming against the faded blue wood.
