Bright midday light breaks through stacked gray clouds to illuminate a field of young green wheat in Jiangsu. A helicopter cuts across the sky, its dark silhouette contrasting against the pale blue gaps. Long, sharp shadows stretch across the undulating crops, marking the movement of the aircraft. Patches of wet ground glisten where a brief sun shower has fallen, darkening the soil beneath the stalks. The scene follows a switchback approach, with rows of plants and the horizon line drawing toward the machine. Droplets rest on the lower leaves of the wheat, catching the sudden glare before the next cloud passes.
