Hard Hat Line on Trailer Wall at Yukon Dawn

Cold silver light from a low Yukon horizon washes over a rough plywood wall inside a construction trailer. A metal line with several hard hats clipped at intervals runs horizontally across the frame. The plastic helmets display scuffs and faded warning stripes in yellow and orange. Raindrops rest on the corrugated metal siding visible through the open doorway. Outside, the muddy access road reflects the pale sky, while the interior floor shows wet boot prints leading toward the wall. The hats hang in a disciplined row, their shadows falling sharply against the grain of the unfinished wood. One rivet near the bottom edge catches the dim light.
