Grey Pigeon in Bilbao

One grey pigeon stands on the wet cobblestones of a narrow Bilbao street, its feathers ruffled by the damp morning air. Raindrops rest on the rough texture of the stone beneath its scaly orange feet, reflecting the pale, diffused light of the overcast sky. The bird turns its head slightly, revealing the iridescent purple sheen on its neck against the muted tones of the surrounding architecture. A faint reflection of a nearby iron balcony railing shimmers in a small puddle just beyond the bird's outstretched wing.
