Indigo twilight washes the rough stone courtyard near Oujda, casting deep shadows against weathered walls. An elderly woman stands low in the frame, her hands gripping a wooden spoon to stir a bubbling mixture inside a large, polished copper pot. The metal reflects the faint, cool light of the brief sun shower, creating sharp highlights against the darkening sky. Early spring mist rests on the air, visible as a soft haze around the steam rising from the jam. Her traditional dress, heavy with folds of deep indigo and rust, contrasts with the bright, warm glow of the copper surface. Water droplets bead on the rim of the pot and run down the woman's weathered knuckles. The low angle emphasizes the height of the pot against the dimming horizon.
